Moorish wizard, born c. 950 in the Calphate of Cordobia. Little is known of his early years, but it is said that he was already a powerful wizard by 985. He loved a woman of Barcelona who was killed when that city was sacked in that year. Angry, Alzephox fled from the Moorish court, eventually founding the Arcana Dorceus in France.
Alzephox's body was never exhumed, nor was a memorial ever held for him. Legend has it that he trapped his body within a Crystal of Time to avoid death and still lives in a chamber at the top of the Order's Black Tower, where he advises the High Hound and gazes at the stars.
